Victoria Felt
Victoria is a Co-Chair for the Career Advancement and Retention Committee for the 2024 WLS Board. Victoria has been a licensed California attorney since 2017. Before becoming an attorney, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work at Humboldt State University (now Cal Poly Humboldt), graduating cum laude (at the top of her class).She obtained her law degree at the University of Iowa School of Law where she received the William Boyd Public Service Award, a graduation recognition earned by students who show a commitment to community service. She also earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Iowa School of Social Work (Go Hawkeyes) as a joint degree with her J.D. Victoria works as an Attorney with the California Department of Public Health where among other things, she drafted a proposed regulation package for the COVID-19 vaccine mandate for school-aged children. She also experienced working as an attorney at two private sector law firms. She recently began working at the Department of Managed Care’s Help Center where she assist California’s in being able to access their health care benefits. Victoria loves living in downtown Sacramento and enjoys drinking a delicious cider on a patio with her boyfriend and two dogs. They can often be found playing dominos or solving a crossword puzzle.
