Latino Law Students Association (LLSA) at McGeorge's Brillamos Junto Gala
This gala serves as the signature fundraiser for the LLSA Bar Prep Stipend Scholarship — a fund dedicated to removing financial barriers for Latino law graduates on their path to licensure. This year's Gala is on April 25, 2026, and we are working toward a fundraising goal of $20,000.
The need is real and urgent: Latinos constitute almost 40% of California's population, yet make up only 6% of the state's active licensed attorneys — making us the most underrepresented group in the legal profession in our own state. [source: California State Bar 2024 Diversity Report Card] Every dollar raised through our scholarship fund is a direct investment in closing that gap for our community.
