Nancy Miller
Nancy Miller is Co-Chair of the Development Committee for the 2024 WLS board. Ms. Miller has over 30 years of experience in providing legal services to numerous public agency and private clients, including cities, counties, local agency formation commissions (LAFCo), special districts, joint powers authorities, transportation commissions, and councils of governments. Ms. Miller provides a full range of litigation services in both trial and appellate courts including the California Supreme Court. Ms. Miller acts as general and special counsel to a number of transportation service providers including transportation commissions, transit districts, transportation joint powers authorities, and non-profit transit services. From 2000-2009, Ms. Miller served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, teaching Local Government Law and served on the Board of Governors of the University of California, San Francisco School of Law (formerly Hastings College of Law) (2012 – 2018). Further she has served on numerous Boards and Commissions and is currently Vice Chair of the California High Speed Rail Authority. A graduate of Stanford University, Nancy received her Law Degree at UC San Francisco, formerly UC Hastings.
