Heather G. Fuchs

​Heather Fuchs is Co-Chair of the Legislation and Bar Delegation Committee for the 2024 WLS Board. Heather is an associate attorney with the law firm Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo, serving in its Northern California Education Law Practice Group. Prior to joining AALRR, Heather practiced employment law litigation in the Bay Area.

Heather received her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law, and earned a B.A. in Political, Legal, and Economic Analysis and a B.A. in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Mills College in Oakland. During law school, Heather served as President of Women and Law and received the Rookie Award from the Queen’s Bench Bar Association for her efforts in organizing a service day designed for underrepresented and underserved college students interested in a career in the legal profession.

​Heather lives in Folsom with her fiancé (a cidermaker), where she spends her spare time cooking and storytelling, often simultaneously.
