Elizabeth sarine

Elizabeth Sarine is Co-Chair of the Grants and Awards Committee for the 2024 WLS Board.  She is a Deputy Attorney General in the Natural Resources Law Section of the Attorney General’s Office.  She specializes in the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and represents state agencies—including the California Air Resources Board and Department of Water Resources—in litigation focused on environmental and administrative law.  Elizabeth received her J.D. from UC Berkeley School of Law, and her B.S. in Environmental Biology and Management from UC Davis.  She is an active member of the Asian/ Pacific Bar Association of Sacramento (ABAS) and recipient of the 2023 ABAS Community Service Award.
