ERIN WINTERSTEEN

Erin Wintersteen is Co-Chair of the Career Advancement and Retention Committee for the 2026 WLS Board. She co-founded and is the COO for a private firm, Wintersteen|Casarez Law Corporation.  She has practiced in the field of Workers’ Compensation for over 20 years as a defense attorney. She is also a California Bar-Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law. She is proud to be the owner of a 100% women-owned law firm. 
She has also served as a board member of the Executive Committee of the Workers’ Compensation Section, California Lawyers Association (CLA) and served as president of the Valley Industrial Claims Association (VICA). Ms. Wintersteen received her Juris Doctor degree cum laude from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, and her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of California, Davis. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her blended family, her dogs and cats, and practicing ballet.
